2nd Prime Time: Village to the Seas

2nd Prime Time
Village Meets the Seas

Fashion ~
For the beginning of the end, or the grander line. Go formal or mix and match your best outerwear. In this try, use light colored clothing or use the darker side. That's to show or hide your inner darkness or light. Choose carefully...

Trafalgar Law

Kuchiki Byakuya

Ego ~
Take a flashback and summon up your kid self. Think of shows like Naruto and One Piece where even before the first episode, the main characters had exciting young childhood lives that contrast with their hardcore adventure.

Blues ~
Don't fall into the trap of being too shounen, be as sad as you are actually during your days. Cry a little or be downcast in the broadcast, even if the days are sunny and warm. There's no turnaround to better days without the blues right there by your side on the bad days.

Mandala Harmony ~
What comes to mind in anime is FMA brotherhood or Clannad's Dango Daikazoku, right? Your own unity circle is between those two in truth. Put personal things in or even put some people in. You won't have good or bad dreams, without one (^^;)

If you're a convention warrior, like us here at the Otaku Reviewers, you've seen your fair share of ups and downs on your convention journeys. We are no exception to the rule. While we cover the highlights of various conventions (As seen at Convention Diaries), we've been through our share of convention camping. Here are a few tips from us to you!

10 Tips for a Successful Anime Convention!

1. If you're getting an autograph from a guest, make sure to plan around that event.

2. Always book the hotel closest to your convention.

3. Never rely on a rental car but do take advantage of shuttles/busses.

4. Book in advance for lower prices.

5. Make a convention budget.

6. Try to make a group meet-up.

7. If you're applying to artist alley, apply ASAP.

8. Take advantage of the one-day rule.

9. Always go for the better hotel, saving a few dollars each night isn't going to help in the long run.

10. Get enough sleep...

Need Money Advice??

Look no further I have compiled data from various anime in order to give you a handbook of money making and saving tips!

Do you feel like you're down in the dumps? Been gambling away your life savings? Or have the loan sharks been knocking at your door lately? Well have no fear, you can be rich in less than ::cough cough:: days.

Step number one: Envision yourself rich. Once you envision the goal every action you take will be toward getting to that goal. ...I like to envision this whole picture.

Step number two: Do something! Do anything to get closer to your goal. Anything's better than being a Madao though... And you thought I was going to say pinch every penny... Sometimes you gotta let the little money get away so you can chase legitamate amounts of money.

Step number three: Turn your talents into money. If you like to dabble in alchemy transmute some money. If you dabble in computer science create the new gaming system.

Step number four: Only spend your money on your goals. Only spend money on worthwhile persuits. Also, be careful of gold-diggers, even if someone as sexy as Faye asked you for money you just have to say no.

Step number five: Recruit followers, even recruit your friends to help you make money.

Step number six: Money buys any little trinket you want. Even balls with stars in them. And you were thinking I was going to tell you to wish for money using Dragonballs. Hey to each his own. In your world there might be a loophole where you can wish upon little glowing balls, but only if they're attached to... (I don't wanna get sued).

Thank you for reading,
Good luck on your Quest for Money!

Welcome to
The Otaku Reviewers

This blog, "The Otaku Reviewers", was started in February of 2010 on this very same platform, Blogger. At first, it was a venture into the informational and informal world of comics, anime, video games, and Japanese culture. In other words, just a random blog.

Over time, the founder of the blog credited with the pseudonym "RPGhero" was joined by two fellow bloggers and friends with the names "Chansu" and "Deretsun". Together the three bloggers looked up interesting Japanese culture facts, recommended new anime, talked about their own "otaku" interests, and traveled across the United States to various anime conventions.

There have been off periods when the blog ceased production of content and there have been times when there would be dozens of blog posts per week. The schedule varies depending on the lives of the people behind the alias'. However the pattern is that we always get back into the game with even newer information about Japanese culture, anime, video games, and other nerdy hobbies.

The motto of our blog is:
"A cure for your apathy and an inspiration for your dreams. ...Applies to Otaku, anime fans, J-pop junkies, and the like"

The purpose is to blog about cool stuff related solely to anime and otaku stuff. There's no other reason we're doing this.

If you like our blog, please support us in however small a way that you would like. We appreciate our readers!

Check it out on Amazon!
