Miliyah Kato - Bye Bye

Translated Lyrics:

When we've met and understood
How many times must we repeat this
Before we become happy?
The back of you has become far away and blurry
Beautiful feelings and fleeting dreams
There will be no loneliness if I do not forget
Bye bye bye bye

You were special to me, you had the same dreams
We'd have willingly chased them together
I've always kind of known
I wanted you to be here for ever and ever
But surely, surely, it couldn't continue like this
I cried and cried and troubled myself
Barely still grasping happiness as the last of it escaped my hands

Since I became so sad
I've looked back on everything
I'll never let anything like this happen again
I will always remember you
Despite everything, I'll always love you
Even though our romance is at an end
Why does my heart ache so much now?
I still love you
Say goodbye bye bye

I've been through love, and it has been difficult
I'd like to cast aside everything to do with it
But I'm sorry, I can't (no)
Now you are free to spread your wings
But just hold me, hold me, make it last forever
Still wait, wait, I haven't forgotten you yet
That sweet farewell ended it, and still you are the only one I love

Again and again
I'll keep calling your name
Until I can't speak anymore
Even when the feelings in my heart become vague
Even if it's my last love, I'll promise
Even then, I want this to be the start of forever
Why are you so far away from me?
Despite everything, I love you
Say goodbye bye bye

Your happiness and my wishes are so far apart
In the future, we'll both meet and fall in love with lots of different people
And somebody will love us both in return

Since I became so sad
I've looked back on everything
I'll never let anything like this happen again
I will always remember you
Despite everything, I'll always love you
Even though our romance is at an end
Why does my heart ache so much now?
I still love you
Say goodbye bye bye

oh oh oh
oh oh oh
oh oh oh
I want to be with you

oh oh I love you
oh oh I miss you so much
oh oh but you've forgotten
I guess it's good bye
I won't forget you

I did not traslate or create this video or the music. I don't own it. Don't kill me, copyright people.

Chansu's "Manga by Chance" Issue 1!

So, you thought we were only into anime? Wrong! In this new review series, I'll introduce you to one or two manga you've probably never heard of before. Only by chance (or "cha-n-su!") have I come into contact with interesting under-the-radar manga that you may like too! Time for...

"MANGA BY CHANCE!"

Don't be surprised folks: today's "Manga by Chance" happens to be all about seinin manga. Seinin is basically the demographic I and most otaku belong in: young males 18-30ish. Seinin manga is pretty much aimed at the bulk of the otaku population. And for that reason it's filled with cute girls, fanservice, and generally light storylines. But some seinin manga also involves some pretty puzzling/important/sometimes disturbing themes. So it's not all about the panty shots! Now then, on to the reviews!

Let's Lagoon
by Takeshi Okazaki

[categories - Drama, Romance, Survival, Mystery, Comedy, Seinin]

If you woke up to realize you were stranded on a deserted island, what would you do first?

I'm sure we've all asked eachother this question, but then ask yourself: after 4 days of living alone and coming to terms with the state of affairs, what would you do if you found a cute, legally blind girl eating your last few rations?

I bet none of you answered like Yamada, the main character of "Let's Lagoon," who was stranded on a no-man's island after a school trip gone wrong. First thing he'd do is carve a boat out of a tree trunk. And after meeting the girl Imaise Chika, he'd dedicate himself to keeping her alive while hiding his feelings for her! "Let's Lagoon" is an interesting tale of a boy's perseverance to protect the girl he loves, even against mysterious odds. This manga is "Lost" meets Japan. Hopefully, unlike Lost, this thing will have an end. This manga is ongoing so get prepared to be left with a huge cliffhanger!

Check out "Let's Lagoon" in the seinin monthly Bessatsu Young! ...

Or for those of us who do not live in Japan, you can read the manga for free at www.onemanga.com.

090 - Eko to Issho
by Asakura Maru

[categories - Comedy, Romance, Action, Seinin]

Remember when your friends got their first cellular phones? Sure they were huge, clunky grey boxes with an antennae, but they could play Snake and Tetris, tell the time, and even maybe go on the internet! You know you were jealous of Joe or Pam with their hot new technology.

If you can relate then you're just like Hiroshi, the protagonist of this manga. So desperate to get a cell phone, he found one in the trash and sent it to get repaired. He never expected, though, that he would get a life-sized girl back in the mail! Hiroshi names the girl who claims to be a cell phone Eko, and she becomes Hiroshi's new mobile device whether he likes it or not. Many hilarious misadventures follow, with the class president, the text-ninja SATO, and Hiroshi's friends. Hiroshi struggles to keep the identity of his cell phone under wraps (the irony!) all while figuring out how to use the dang new-fangled machinery. This series is complete so have a ball with it!

Um I don't know where you can get this manga but I know it's online at www.onemanga.com.

Well folks, that's all I have for today! Get reading on your manga because there's more to come!

RPGHero's Appearance as Usopp

Have you ever wondered what RPGHero looks like?

There may be a chance for you to see RPGHero's visage as Usopp from One Piece.

I'll hopefully be cosplaying at Animazement, a convention in Raleigh, NC.

The only thing is that I need to round up the costume elements to cosplay as Usopp.

If I am successful, I will post my appearance as Usopp for the world to see!

Wish me luck!

Anime Letter of Recommendation: xxxHolic

Bringing a new meaning to the words I Own You Boy...
(not a direct quote)

Watanuki is a high schooler who can see spirits and monsters that are otherwise invisible to the normal eye. Though he's been seeing them all his life he's always frightened when they start to chase him around. One day while running from the monsters he stumbles onto the property of a Fortune teller. He's mysteriously drawn into her shop and cannot control himself to leave. The Fortune teller, Yuki, meets with him and she tells him she's running a wish granting shop and he must have business at her shop, because "There's no such thing as coincidences". He tells her it would be nice not the see the monsters any more and he ends up with a part-time job at her shop, using his ability to see monsters instead of getting rid of it and, more importantly to Yuki, being her personal butler... Oh and he's got a crush on a girl in his class plus there's a pretty boy who's presence threatens to steal her away. They become integral parts of Watanuki's destiny!

Watch if you dare! But watch the Kei version after the regular version because Kei is the sequel.

Welcome to
The Otaku Reviewers

This blog, "The Otaku Reviewers", was started in February of 2010 on this very same platform, Blogger. At first, it was a venture into the informational and informal world of comics, anime, video games, and Japanese culture. In other words, just a random blog.

Over time, the founder of the blog credited with the pseudonym "RPGhero" was joined by two fellow bloggers and friends with the names "Chansu" and "Deretsun". Together the three bloggers looked up interesting Japanese culture facts, recommended new anime, talked about their own "otaku" interests, and traveled across the United States to various anime conventions.

There have been off periods when the blog ceased production of content and there have been times when there would be dozens of blog posts per week. The schedule varies depending on the lives of the people behind the alias'. However the pattern is that we always get back into the game with even newer information about Japanese culture, anime, video games, and other nerdy hobbies.

The motto of our blog is:
"A cure for your apathy and an inspiration for your dreams. ...Applies to Otaku, anime fans, J-pop junkies, and the like"

The purpose is to blog about cool stuff related solely to anime and otaku stuff. There's no other reason we're doing this.

If you like our blog, please support us in however small a way that you would like. We appreciate our readers!

Check it out on Amazon!
