(。•ω•。)A poem by RPGhero(๑╯ﻌ╰๑)
A heart unfettered
By the cares of lovers
Finds little gifts
Each in their own box and covers
When one opens the present
Inside there's the kind of love
The heart wants to share
Even the smallest little dove
But the best of all the lovers
Frees everybody standing by with their love
Like an angel's wings flutter
The love inside frees us.

Difference between...
(not otaku but here goes...)
Difference between being the time and being a clock.
A clock must display accurate time.
A time can be good or bad, as long as it is timing the
passage of time in the world.
A time can’t go with you physically.
A clock should not be changed to a wrong time or time zone
location.
A clock can’t change the time to suit itself or another.
Unless sync with digital cloud clocks.
The time can read on all clocks.
Not all times are read the same, even at difference
instances.
A clock itself cannot be good or bad, as long as it is
accurate and can be read.
Clocks can be artistically beautified whereas time cannot.
Time can be interpreted differently, where the clock should
be read for time.

Why is December the Month of Unlikely Couples, by RPGHero
December, Month of Unlikely Couples

Personally, I've never been in a real loving couple before. I have always wanted to be with someone who would tell me that they would love me and mean it. Love is hard to come by in today's Era and it seems like we're all looking for it, and for happiness.
No two snowflakes are alike, but they're all drops of crystalline water that reflected the sun's light rays from outer space. That's like everyone, reflecting the sun's warmth, but for a drop of water to become a crystal it absorbs some of the sun's light, the atmosphere, and combines it with the particles inside that drop of water. Maybe that's why we all want love and happiness so much.
What about the hungry caterpillar that goes into their chrysalis cocoon and then moment after moment vibrates continuously, making just a little warmth so that it can become a beautiful butterfly?! That's like the constant vibrations and signals we send out daily so that we, people, can find love and happiness in this life.
Everyday everyone has the chance to meet someone new. Even someone who might want to fall in love with you. A snowflake or a caterpillar would never try to find love because they have one goal, to be beautiful. People want beauty in life but they pass up the beautiful relationships that are formed every single day, to keep looking for beauty. This December, find an unlikely love, a person, place, or thing that makes you feel warmth and beauty. It is unlikely that you'll ever get this time back in the future and your now Beautiful Self!
~Merry Christmas!~

Some Cool Anime Quotes!
Hi everyone! Here are some great anime quotes that I think show how cool anime really is. These are the memories that keep me an "Otaku" even when the times get difficult and there isn't really much time to marathon some anime. Anyway, instead of the rant, here goes!
"My house?!" Ken-sama to Gintoki
"Now that you have changed you can build 100 houses" Gintoki's reply, episodes 1-2.
"People need to live their lives with a clear conscience. When you want to walk a straight path, somehow you get yourself stained with mud. However, as long as we never give up, one day, the mud on you will dry up and fall off" Gintoki, episode 97.
Watch Gin-Tama on Crunchyroll.com and also the shounen anime, Naruto is there!

J-Pop Video of the Day
Hey guys, this is usually RPGHero's segment but I felt like hijacking it for once (or twice). This song is for those who've grown up and left people and places behind in order to pursue their dreams.
Tooku Tooku (Far Far Away) by Makihara Noriyuki
English
I want to give all my strength
And greet a shining day in this town
So that you’ll know how I’m getting on
Even if we're far, far apart
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the garden
They always are at this time of year
I remember the invisible snow storm of flowers
That danced on the platform at the Shinkansen station
It's like the 7-5-3 festival
Even this uncomfortable suit
Looks kind of good on me now
I've even gotten good at picking out ties
On my invite to the class reunion
I circled “Will not attend”
To all of you who wrote to me
Saying “I’m worried about whether you’re OK”
I want to give all my strength
And greet a shining day in this town
So that you’ll know how I’m getting on
Even if we're far, far apart
When you said “You can come back any time”
On the payphone at midnight
It made me smile
And that’s how I’ve managed to make it this far
No matter how high a tower I go up
I can’t see my hometown
I’m always holding in my heart
Something I can't lose
In a town far, far away
I’m doing well
What’s important
Is "changing"
And "staying the same"
On my invite to the class reunion
I circled “Will not attend”
Though I really want to see everyone's faces now
More than anything
I want to give all my strength
And greet a shining day in this town
So that you’ll know how I’m getting on
Even if we're far, far apart
Because I’ve decided that this town
Is where I can make my dreams come true.

Vocaloid track of the Whenever I Feel Like It {S2} 7
[Best-a-friends! ♥]
Hey guys, welcome to yet another edition of Vocaloid Track of the Whenever I Feel Like It, Season TWO! This time, Miku and Luka face off, singing about the troubles of high pressure situations, being a part of society (school, work, etc), and of course how you handle it!
And of course this is Vocaloid music we're talking about, so there's no straightforward answer.
In "Rolling Girl" Miku is a downright rebel! Like a rolling stone! Woohoo! But what can save her from her no-looking-back lifestyle and the pain that comes with it? Will she become a classroom statistic, or will something else happen? Watch, and find out~
"No Logic" is much easier to relate to. Have you ever felt like your life's goal is to get the best grades, or in fact that you are less of a person if you don't get a perfect score? Do you count your test scores as your "Life" scores? You might want to pay close attention to this song. What is the cost of "passion" versus "progress"? What will you choose?

Vocaloid track of the Whenever I Feel Like It 9 [Double Header]
The ability to think. The ability to be aware. The ability to appreciate. The ability to feel emotion. The ability to love. The ability to show gratitude...

Kagamine Rin - "Kokoro"
But the story doesn't end there! The scientist [portrayed as Len] also adds an amazingly human side to this story as well. This is for those of you that believe miracles only come once...
I did not subtitle or create this video or the music. I don't own it. Don't kill me, copyright people.

This is one of the most catchy yet touching songs ever created. Make sure you have a box of Kleenex handy while you watch this one. The art is a little dated but the impact is still the same...

Vocaloid track of the Whenever I Feel Like It 5
Look who's back with another Vocaloid song! Me, that's who!
What happens when we try our very best? Society tells us that we will always succeed, but what if we don't? The world isn't as kind as we think; despite our best efforts we can still fail while the people close to us outdo us. What then? Luka says... just keep spinning!
Only one question remains: How far can you reach with your two arms?
I'm proud to present:

WWGD?
In explanation: What Would Gintoki Do?
Sakata Gintoki is one of the stars of the anime Gintama. Gintama is a hit show in Japan and with it's anime satire, straight comedy, and superfluous use of anime and manga references it may come off as a comedy. But it's also got shounen action, love issues, and action rolled into it too. Making it a great show for any anime fan to relate to.
Why the plagarization of the commonly used religious abbreviation?
While Gintoki may be lazy, immature, and whimsical at times there are times during the show when he has an unexpected Zen moment. He'll say something wise or do something great for someone else.
He's one of the perfect dudes to look up to, just don't fall asleep with Shounen Jump on your chest when your mom wants you to do the chores XD.
Download Gintama @ www.rumbel-subs.com (episodes 21 and up)
Watch all of Gintama @ www.crunchyroll.com
(Also check out Crunchyroll and look out for details to win an Ipad before March 31st)

The Otaku Reviewers
The Otaku Reviewers
This blog, "The Otaku Reviewers", was started in February of 2010 on this very same platform, Blogger. At first, it was a venture into the informational and informal world of comics, anime, video games, and Japanese culture. In other words, just a random blog.
Over time, the founder of the blog credited with the pseudonym "RPGhero" was joined by two fellow bloggers and friends with the names "Chansu" and "Deretsun". Together the three bloggers looked up interesting Japanese culture facts, recommended new anime, talked about their own "otaku" interests, and traveled across the United States to various anime conventions.
There have been off periods when the blog ceased production of content and there have been times when there would be dozens of blog posts per week. The schedule varies depending on the lives of the people behind the alias'. However the pattern is that we always get back into the game with even newer information about Japanese culture, anime, video games, and other nerdy hobbies.
The motto of our blog is:
"A cure for your apathy and an inspiration for your dreams. ...Applies to Otaku, anime fans, J-pop junkies, and the like"
The purpose is to blog about cool stuff related solely to anime and otaku stuff. There's no other reason we're doing this.
