RPGHero's Top Ten Shounen Anime Openings

RPGHero ranks Shounen Anime Openings by a few criteria. Actually the only cred this has is the ranking.
1) How many battles involving main characters and powerful enemies are in the opening? The more of these the higher the rank.
2) Does the opening have to do with the arc that the story is in currently? Closer to what's going on in the show is higher.
3) Do the scenes and the music mesh together so what you are watching/hearing seem like one distinct entity? I.E. you will think that the music was made for the anime and the anime scenes made for the music.
4) Does the opening include main bosses? More main bosses the higher the rank.
5) Do the lyrics correspond to the arc? Closer to the story = higher rank.
6) Does the main character or supporting main characters use high level attacks? I.E. the cooler the attacks shown the higher the rank.
7) Overall Epicness. Enough said.

10. Yu Yu Hakusho Opening (Full)

9. Dokan Dokan Paradise - Dragonball Kai

8. Jap - Sengoku Basara

7. Detarame na Zanzou - Blassreiter

6. D-technolife - Bleach

5. Paper Moon - Soul Eater

4.  Tie!
Listen to the Stereo - Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn and Gekidou - D. Gray.man

3.Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi - Gundam 00

2. Tie!
Kokoro No Chizu - One Piece and Golden Time Lover - Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

1. THE WINNER!
Sign - Naruto Shippuuden

THE MOST EPIC!!!
Naruto isn't even the main focus of this opening (Spoilers ahead). Sasuke and Naruto's mentor Jiraiya are the only characters with fights. Sasuke's being the main reason he wanted to be a ninja, to get revenge. Closes a whole climax for the show. Naruto is shown losing control to the beast within him and then gaining control at the end, after his mentor had *gulp* passed, as he cries a single tear. Definitely one of the most epic openings in all of shounen anime. *Did I mention that Jiraiya's toad summon swings and rips part of Pain's summon Cerebus' head right off??

Vic Mignogna Facts!

Dedicated to the King of Voice Acting!

#1) In the above photo Vic's eyes look red because he had a staring contest with the SUN. The sun looked away...

#2) Some people don't know what they'd do if they met Vic, but according to 'sources' people like Richard Cox wouldn't know what to do if he met Vic Mignonga.

#3) If Chuck Noriss' voice and Vic Mignogna's voice were in a battle, Chuck would run away before his voice died.

#4) It is rumored that Vic Mignogna soothed a bloodthirsty hungry lion to sleep with a lullaby rendition of "We Are!"

#5) One day we will live in a world where people will make love to Vic Mignogna's music and english covers of Japanese songs.

#6) In Vic's world of warcraft commercial he forgot to say that if the camera crew made one wrong move the beast he was controlling would destroy the city.

#7) Ever wonder why Vic looks so muscular? Well that only 10% of his muscle tone. (Think Toguro from Hakusho or Master Roshi when he boosts his muscle tone!)

#8) Vic can beat most people in a fight with that 10%.

#9) When Vic took the Edward Elric role it is rumored that after reading over the script he called Central and told them they found his autobiography.

#10) Vic was rumored to have turned down the role of Goku from DBZ because he didn't want to portray a weakling.

There you have it Vic Mignogna FACTS.
If you are wondering as to whether or not they're true you must ask Vic himself by activating the "Gate of Truth" or going to the next anime convention he agrees to bring into fortune.

And let there be no beef, comparable to east and west coast rappers, when comparing Vic Mignogna and Richard Cox.

This is dedicated to the King of the English Voice Actors

Or so it seems to be so that Vic Mignogna would have that name.
I'm sure you've heard of him or heard his voice somewhere. He's the main character of many shows

Full Metal Alchemist
and
Kekkaishi

he even started out playing a minor bad guy in Yu Yu Hakusho

that was some time ago...

Now he's even started monopolizing his talent by singing the English translations of anime openings and endings.
He sung the opening of DNAngel - True Light

Does it sound better than the Japanese?

And DB Kai (Yes you have to watch it again ><)

Do you think it lives up to the catch Japanese version?

AND Ouran Host Club!

Vic only did this one for fun, he wrote the lyrics and only sung it for the fans. The official one is sung by another person.

>< He's taking over the otaku world for FUN ><

What about One Piece?

Yes he's taken over one piece!

Need I say more? He's going to rule the Voice Acting world in America!
These videos are probably just the tip of the iceberg!

Vic Mignogna and Steve Blum are MEAN!

Makes me want to not support Cartoon Network but c'mon if you were one of these guys would you bash your fans (referring to the last video)?
UPDATE:  What if RPGhero was a Sweaty Glomper man? I'd still want to hug Luci Christian. But what if she made a song about corny blogger men, I'd feel bad but I wouldn't deny that I am a blogger! Just like fangirls should never deny that they're fangirls, the backbone of American otakudom.

Yaoi Fan Girls ^

Cosplayer Guys ^

Convention mothers ^

"Cheap Ole Hallway Sleeper Guys" ^

And the meanest one of them ALL!
Their "tribute" to "sweaty glomper girls"

Welcome to
The Otaku Reviewers

This blog, "The Otaku Reviewers", was started in February of 2010 on this very same platform, Blogger. At first, it was a venture into the informational and informal world of comics, anime, video games, and Japanese culture. In other words, just a random blog.

Over time, the founder of the blog credited with the pseudonym "RPGhero" was joined by two fellow bloggers and friends with the names "Chansu" and "Deretsun". Together the three bloggers looked up interesting Japanese culture facts, recommended new anime, talked about their own "otaku" interests, and traveled across the United States to various anime conventions.

There have been off periods when the blog ceased production of content and there have been times when there would be dozens of blog posts per week. The schedule varies depending on the lives of the people behind the alias'. However the pattern is that we always get back into the game with even newer information about Japanese culture, anime, video games, and other nerdy hobbies.

The motto of our blog is:
"A cure for your apathy and an inspiration for your dreams. ...Applies to Otaku, anime fans, J-pop junkies, and the like"

The purpose is to blog about cool stuff related solely to anime and otaku stuff. There's no other reason we're doing this.

If you like our blog, please support us in however small a way that you would like. We appreciate our readers!

Check it out on Amazon!
