Shounen Jump

American printings of Shounen Jump have ended. What will become of the Shounen Jump franchise in America?

I'm sure more than a few of us American Otaku have collected Shounen Jump and many of us sport a large collection. Some of us just enjoy reading the manga and flipping from page to page. To all of us this is a huge blow, one more reputable anime magazine has been taken off the shelves.

However Shounen Jump boasts this as a new beginning and not the end. And I hate when people say stuff like that if you know what I mean.

Check out Shounen Jump Alpha, the new platform for Shounen Jump. What do you think about the new setup? Is it worth 25 dollars a year? And what are the secret member meeting that they're advertising?

I still don't believe it hype. In fact I wish they'd bring back the print editions and the last of the print editions have not even left the shelves yet....
